We have been performing home inspections since 1995.We are one of the largest independent home inspection companies in BC.
What are your qualifications?
We are members of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI) B.C. We are provincially licensed home inspectors. Our inspectors upgrade their training annually, and through additional seminars and conferences, stay abreast of developments in home building, renovations, and maintenance. In addition, we have extensive experience with home building and renovations.
How long does an inspection take?
A typical home inspection takes about 3 hours. Larger and or older homes may require more time to inspect.
Can I be present at the inspection?
Yes, in fact, we recommend clients accompany the inspector during the process. It will provide you with the opportunity to raise questions and for the inspector to address any of your concerns at this time.
What do you look at?
We inspect the major systems of the home. Our goal is to provide a fair representation of the condition of the home and to identify potential significant expense items and safety and health issues.
Do you provide a report?
Yes, at the conclusion of our inspection, we will provide you with a report. We use a comprehensive reporting system
The Home Reference Book. It includes a summary page of the condition of the home, report pages dealing with the major systems of the home and over four hundred pages of reference material corresponding to our recommendations.
How much does an inspection cost?
Our typical fee for an inspection is $400 - $600. Different factors of the home may affect the fee schedule. Please contact our office personnel for your inspection quotation.
What are my payment options?
We accept Cheque, Visa and Mastercard. The fee is payable at the time of the inspection.
